• Deep Reading Assignment Questions/Clarifications?
• Research NOTE:  If you feel like you are getting bogged down in super specific scholarly articles, maybe try to zoom out and consume an academic text that takes a bigger picture view! OR, while these don't count as an academic text, read through a Wikipedia or watch a comprehensive documentary on your topic.

• Advice from class of 2019: Keep a document/folder of visual resources that would work better in a TED Talk than in the thesis paper (cool images/video clips, etc...)

Research Question conferences, continued

1. Review research question
2. Show me sources you have found so far
3. Original research (interview, survey, etc.) timeline and resources
4. Advisor discussion

Deep Reading and Research GOALS:  

1. Read and annotate your second source, find an additional source (#3)
2. Keep track of new vocab words for your Lexicon (defined: the vocabulary of a person, language, or branch of knowledge).
