Monday, May 20th: Day before exhibition!

Agenda
  • Finalize your work for tomorrow's exhibition
  • ​Conference with Ashley if needed
  • Prep for Exit Interviews (see below)
  • ​Head to the Powerhouse at 11:45
Exit Interview Format
  1. Time:  Interviews will be scheduled in 15 minute intervals.
  2. Participants:  Interviews will be conducted by your Senior Project Cohort leader and at least one other senior team teacher.  
  3. Preparation:  
    1. 3-2-F:  Be prepared to speak to the following:
      1. 3 aspects of your project you’d like to celebrate
      2. 2 areas of growth you or your project need
      3. 1 piece of FEEDBACK about the structure of senior project
    2. Evidence: Please bring evidence to showcase the quality of your work and to prove that you demonstrated fidelity to your Personal Assessment Plan (PAP).
    3. Additional questions we may ask are listed below.
  4. Dress:  No need to go full Exhibition dress, but please dress somewhat nicely for these.  Look professional!
Passing Determination:  At the end of the interview, we will determine whether or not you pass your senior project.  If you do not pass, we will work together to determine a plan forward.  

Potential Questions:
  1. Are you proud of the work you did on this project?  Why/why not? Get specific.
  2. What is the best thing about your senior project?  What is the worst thing about your project?
  3. What did you hope to accomplish with this project?  How successful were you at meeting your goals for this project?
  4. What significant challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
  5. How did your project extend the understanding of your content?  If it didn’t, why not?
  6. What have you learned from this process that you can apply to future work?
  7. If you were going to do this project over again, what would you do differently in design and/or execution?
  8. What’s one piece of advice you would give to next year’s seniors about senior project?
  9. What advice do you have for the senior team in setting up projects for success?
