Powerpoints that don't suck

CLASS BIZ

•  Get a library card by January 7th (upon return from winter break)
• TPS Report due beginning of class TODAY. This TPS Report should be uploaded to the Senior 2020 POL folder.  The document should be saved as your name (johndoe). 
• Tomorrow's model panelists are Susan (morning pod) and Jem (afternoon pod). I need volunteer panelists for the afternoon class.
• Remember: Professional dress for your POL
• FINAL PUSH-- deadlines reminder
• Triple check the POL schedule to make sure you know your presentation AND panel times.  
• Draft of POL Powerpoint is due beginning of class on Wednesday for peer critique.
• Did you refine your philosophy cover letter? Please RE-SHARE it with me AND make sure you self-assessed on the rubric-- explaining in each category what you improved and what grade you now deserve.

How to Make a PowerPoint that Doesn't Suck

1. Split into groups of 4 .  Choose a facilitator!
2. Complete the handout I give you (also linked above).  Follow the directions, please!  Don't skimp on this- it is actually really helpful in framing your thinking for the task ahead of you.

4. Final step here is brainstorming slides images/designs for you particular presentation

1. Outline what you're going to say for each step of the presentation
2. Create your slides
