Senior Thesis Info Dump

 ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Turn in your CCwC reflection if you were able to schedule interview(s) by today. If not, let me know your extension needs on the survey below. 
• Weekly Objectives handouts (each week, I'll hand out these to help you stay on track. They can also be found digitally on the SENIOR PROJECT PAGE).

Starter:  Independent Work Survey
Take the survey linked above!   Make sure to click the "send me a copy of my results" button at the bottom of the page before you submit- we'll be coming back to these later!  We'll review the results as a class, and then in pairs you'll discuss the following things:

1. What is your biggest anticipated difficulty in working independently on your thesis?  Help each other develop potential strategies for overcoming your difficulties.
2. What is your biggest anticipated strength in working independently on your thesis?
3. What was most helpful for you about last week's action project test week?
4. What do you still need to do to feel dialed on  your ACTION project??
5. Would meeting this week or early next week with students of similar action project focuses be useful to you? If so, what would you want to accomplish or discuss with them?
6. Share out with the whole class!

Action Project Team Meet-up Sign-up AND Update Research Question/Project Document
Update the linked-document above with the following:

1. On the first page, find your action project focus and write your name next to it and what you'd want to discuss with other students with similar project focues.
2. THEN, scroll down to ASHLEY'S CLASS and write your most updated research question based on feedback during your POL
3. Your refined project idea. 
4. Most pressing next steps for your thesis research and/or project idea (based on feedback from POL and/or your action project test week)

Using the Library Database

HOMEWORK
Find (but don't read) 3-5 potential sources that seem to be about your general topic.  Have them bookmarked in the library folder so that you can easily access them at the start of class tomorrow.  If you don't have these bookmarked, you'll be behind for tomorrow's class.
