Up First Friday!

It's Friday! Which means the least productive work day of the week! Let's spend some time at the beginning of class bonding over current events, expand our knowledge of domestic and global affairs, and overall become more informed and sophisticated humans.  

1. 15 minutes: Listen to  Up First as a class
2. 20 minutes: You choose one of the headlines from the episode and research it for more context and background. 
3. 20 minutes: Whole class discussion (let's discuss our reactions to the news-- what did you learn? What questions do you have? Etc....
